The "Give For Good" program is a 24 hour online giving challenge led by Community Foundation of North Louisiana to raise unrestricted dollars for nonprofits in our community.  It is a day of giving to celebrate the nonprofits in our community and a chance to raise thousands of dollars to make our community even better.  May 7, 2024 is the National Day of Giving.  Anyone can make a donation to participating nonprofits.  Tracy Prestwood, a member of the Byrd Alumni Association, is our representative to the Community Foundation meetings and has kept us informed of the proceedings.

 

How does it work?  The Community Foundation of North Louisiana has set up an online platform at giveforgoodnla.com with searchable profiles of participating nonprofits and a leader board on the day of the event.  All donations will be processed through this website.  Anyone can donate to their favorite nonprofit on April 20, 2024 from midnight to midnight via giveforgoodnla.com or through authorized, secure giving forms located on participating nonprofits' web sites.
